Missouri House Utilities Committee unanimously approves Power Predictability and Reliability Act

By a 12-0 vote, the members of the Missouri House Utilities Committee put their stamp of approval on House Bill 2541. Commonly known as the Power Predictability and Reliability Act, this legislation aims to remove barriers to investment when in-state utility companies decide to build new natural gas power plants in Missouri.

Ameren Missouri recently filed its updated Smart Energy Plan with the Missouri Public Service Commission. The $12.4 billion, five-year investment plan is designed to modernize infrastructure and enhance grid reliability and flexibility.

Ameren supports Heat Up St. Louis

As a part of Heat Up St. Louis' annual Hardee's Rise and Shine event on Feb. 9, Ameren once again joined forces to assist the organization helping families pay their energy bills. Founded in 2000, Heat Up St. Louis Inc. is a nonprofit organization aiming to help the elderly, disabled and low-income families with energy assistance throughout the bi-state region.
