Ameren supports Heat Up St. Louis
Efforts include donation and assistance during annual Hardee's Rise and Shine for Heat event
As a part of Heat Up St. Louis' 26th annual Hardee's Rise and Shine for Heat event on Feb. 13, Ameren once again joined forces with the organization to help those struggling with their utility bills. Founded in 2000, Heat Up St. Louis is a nonprofit organization aiming to help the elderly, people with disabilities and families in need throughout the bi-state region with energy assistance. In addition to a $200,000 donation from the company, more than 100 Ameren team members joined volunteers during the annual Rise and Shine for Heat event to raise awareness and financial support for the nonprofit's efforts throughout the area.

"Ameren is proud to be a part of the effort to support Heat Up St. Louis as it works to help those struggling during the cold winter months," said Connie Taylor, director of Community Engagement and Impact for Ameren. "As a company, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve – it is an important part of our culture.
In addition to supporting the Hardee's Rise and Shine for Heat event, Ameren works closely with Heat Up St. Louis to help customers with utility, energy efficiency, payment and safety concerns. For more information on energy assistance opportunities, customers are encouraged to visit heatupstlouis.org or Ameren.com/Assistance. The company's donation to Heat Up St. Louis was funded by shareholders and not Ameren ratepayers.
