Improving reliability in Webster Groves
Ameren Missouri's Smart Energy Plan provides critical infrastructure upgrades to customers throughout its service territory
Through the Smart Energy Plan, Ameren Missouri is investing more than $9 million in the Webster Groves community to improve reliability for customers. In addition to technology upgrades, the project includes the installation of 19 composite power poles to create a more reliable energy grid. These technology and infrastructure upgrades will serve more than 15,000 homes and businesses in the area, including the City of Kirkwood that uses power from Ameren Missouri to serve its municipal customers.

Since the Smart Energy Plan was enacted in 2018, Ameren Missouri has invested more than $3.2 billion in capital projects, attracting new businesses to the Show-Me State and creating thousands of good-paying jobs.
