Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry honors Ameren Missouri during annual meeting
Ameren Missouri named Champion of Enterprise during Missouri Chamber event
On Thursday, Nov. 9, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognized Ameren Missouri as one of its Champions of Enterprise – its highest honor – during the organization's annual meeting in Kansas City. In addition to honoring the contributions of individuals and organizations to improving the state's business climate, the Missouri Chamber celebrated its 100th anniversary during the event.
Tina Shannon, senior director of Government Relations for Ameren Missouri, accepted the Chamber's Champion of Enterprise award on the company's behalf.
“We were proud to recognize Ameren at our 2023 Annual Meeting as a Champion of Enterprise. The award recognizes Missouri companies that have been in operation 100 years or more," said Dan Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "Ameren should be noted for more than just longevity. The organization has been a driver for innovation, economic development and quality of life in our state. We are grateful for our partnership with Ameren!”
