Power Predictability and Reliability Act moves forward in the Missouri House
Legislation receives bipartisan approval from House Utilities committee
By a 17-4 vote, the Missouri House of Representatives' Utilities committee put its stamp of approval on a wide-ranging utility bill. Senate Bill 4, made up of more than 20 provisions, includes language establishing the Power Predictability and Reliability Act. This measure aims to reduce the disincentives energy companies face when investing in new, on-demand power plants and accelerate their deployment.

Ameren recently announced $70,000 in community impact support for five southeast Missouri organizations, with a focus on improving local communities and services.

"Our commitment to investing in communities goes beyond providing safe, reliable energy. We partner with area nonprofits and organizations to make our communities a better place to live."

Underground cable upgrades benefit thousands in St. Louis City
Smart Energy Plan improvements aim to improve grid reliability in the area
To support reliability for thousands of customers in the City of St. Louis, Ameren Missouri is upgrading and modernizing several miles of underground infrastructure. Through the company's Smart Energy Plan, the Russell Revitalization project is a multi-year effort to address and improve the aging circuits and crowded conduits throughout the city. If left unattended, these vital pieces of infrastructure could cause reliability issues for customers.
