Giving Back to the Communities We Serve

It's true that Ameren Missouri workers live, work and give back to communities all across the state. Each year, hundreds of Ameren Missouri team members volunteer thousands of hours at parades, school events, county fairs and a host of other local community events.

April was an active month for volunteers, with some of the highlighted community outreach events including planting trees for Arbor Day and assisting students in need.

More than 50 volunteers representing Ameren Missouri and Shade Tree attended the Serve Jeff City event. Volunteers planted 30 trees at Livingston Park near Lincoln University, which also served as an Arbor Day project for Jefferson City.

In addition, Ameren Missouri volunteers assisted with planting six red maple trees for the City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department to support Arbor Day celebrations.

Also, Corporate Communications had a great time lending a helping hand to the Little Bit Foundation. Together they were able to move large shelving units, organize donations and learn more about how Little Bit advocates for students living in poverty in the St. Louis area. Every little bit of volunteering adds up to a whole lot of hope to those who need it most.
